Poorhouse in České Budějovice 1899 - 1933

This thesis deals daily life of inmates in municipal poorhouse in České Budějovice in the second half of 19. th century and at the beginning of the 20. th century. Thesis consists of three chapters, an introduction and conclusion. At first part is introduced brief survey of care ganerally in the city of České Budějovice with background of development of inhabitants in metropolis. Second chapter shows origin of poorhouse here and his inner run which was provided commitee for poors and his employees. Last part is about daily life of wards here on the basis of archive source Book of wards. This book was written in 1899 - 1933. Thesis watches number of inmates in poorhouse and files treated and died poeple here in this period. Inmates are discribed from the point of view their age, gender, marital status, religion and profession
