This paper describes the author\u27s experiences teaching the Information Systems core course in an MBA program in Nepal. The goals of the paper are twofold: 1) to prompt other faculty to consider seeking out similar short term visiting faculty positions in the developing world and 2) to spark a dialogue on the state of the IS core course in Nepal that may lead to continuing improvements. Background information on Nepal and its higher education system are presented. The MBA program and business school facilities are described as well as specifics of teaching the IS core course
