Cottage dwelling is a specific phenomenon widespread massively in Czechoslovakia of the second half of 20th century. One may characterize this phenomenon as all activities inside the country village object originally built for other than recreational purposes. It is typical for the Czech cottage dwelling that its demonstrations are not limited to one narrowly oriented social strata; the phenomenon has infiltrated, in fact, the entire Czech society
