Computer-based and wireless patient monitoring systems are emerging as a low cost, reliable and accurate way of healthcare delivery. Advanced and secure solutions such as electronic records, mobile systems and cloud computing have been developed for healthcare. Most tele-health solutions send data or video remotely to healthcare providers but very few systems are in place for both vital signs and video connectivity in real-time.
