The paper is concerned with the comparison of the computational and experimental results of the hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head and stem cone self-adhesive connection. There were measured the tangential strain on the lower part of the head's sphere and vertically head displacement. The measured shape deflections from ideal cone shapes were implemented to the FEM model. The comparison of the computational and experimental data were realised for variants with the smooth and teethless stem
