In this paper the design of aerodynamic tilting-pad journal bearings is presented and corresponding dynamical experiments are proposed. The experimental test stand with HF electric motor will be built at Institute of Thermomechanics, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague. The rotor and pad vibrations will be measured. The vibrational data analysis will enable spectral and moda lidentification of this rotor-bearings system
