Analysis of arbitrarily-shaped transitions in waveguides, such as inhomogeneous cavities and waveguide junctions, have been formulated by the Finite Element Method, using tetrahedral elements with four degrees of freedom. A computer program has been developed and validated in a simple analytical case.Peer Reviewe
