In order to identify and quantify the grass weeds in cereal crops in "Solsonès", a survey in all the areas of the region has been done. Grass weeds infestations has been observed in 82 % of the surveyed fields, which means that almost 15.000 ha of cereal are infested by these species. Among the most important because of frequency and infestation level, we can mention: Lolium rigidum, Papaver sp., Convolvulus arvensis, Bromus diandrus and Avena sterilis sp. Lolium rigidum, Papaver sp. and Convolvulus arvensis have been found in more than 50% of the surveyed fields.
