One of the main contributions of ethnomethodology hasbeen the restitution of the reflexivity as a fundamentaldimension to the comprehension of social practices.However, it is observable that this ethnomethodologicalpostulate has been overestimated. Ethnomethodologyhas been understood as a reintegration of voluntarismand agency in opposition to social ordertheories.
