Strain sensors based on stress annealed Co.sub.69./sub.Fe.sub.2./sub.Cr.sub.2./sub.Si.sub.8./sub.B.sub.14./sub. amorphous magnetic ribbons were designe. fabricated, and evaluated. Their sensitivity is much more higher compared with resistance gauges, allowing low-price electronic portable equipment for outdoor measurements
