Information-Centric Networking (ICN) introduces a paradigm shift from a host centric communication model for Future Internet architecture. The main goal of this paradigm shift is to improve the content distribution of a huge amount of digital content in the current Internet. In addition, the retrieval of a particular content within a minimal amount of time is also considered as another design goal. To achieve this goal, ICN supports the retrieval of a particular content regardless of the physical location of the content and introduces in-network caching services.
