Developement of competitiveness of Slovac Republic

The main discussed problem of this bachelor thesis is to find out how competitive Slovak republic is in worldwide economy. In other words, how competitive Slovakia is in comparison with another countries. The first part of this work concludes theoretical knowledge what the competitiveness consist of. The purpose of this part is to understand the competitiveness as a discussed problem of nowadays. The second part of this thesis describes the development of Slovak economy from the year of its independence to nowadays. The third analytical part includes analysis of the competitiveness of Slovak economy through indicators and markers determined by World economic forum in Geneva, specifically through Index of global competitiveness
