The Role of the Liquefied Natural Gas in the World Economy

The Bachelor thesis' focus is on the role and importance of the liquefied natural gas as a tradable commodity and a way of transporting natural gas. The first part of the thesis contains an analysis of the current state of the world natural gas market including factors influencing said market and the pattern of localisation of natural gas fields in the world. The second part deals with the specific features of LNG and its production and transportation issues. The last part analyses the position of LNG in the world energy mix and the localisation of exporting and importing LNG facilities around the world
