International Maritime Conferences

The aim of this work is to discover, describe and trace future trends in maritime liner conferences. Maritime transport plays a key role in world trade and with the increasing globalization its importance is growing. At the same time, the container traffic increasingly dominates the world trade. Container traffic is currently awaiting a series of fundamental changes and challenges. The work has two parts. In one of them is discussed what the shipping conferences are, how have they arisen and what have been their current developments. In the second part I try to draw possible conclusions on how the situation develops in the future, after their last exception has expired. I also work to include chapters on the most current and important shipping routes and ports
