Issue of Palestinian Refugees in Contemporary Israeli-Palestinian Relations

The paper describes the issue of the Palestinian refugees in the context of relations between State of Israel and Palestinian people. It contains historical background of the israeli-palestinian conflict. The paper follows the evolution of the Palestinian refugee issue during the 20th century. Further it interprets demands of both sides of the conflict employing official resources of such organizations that represent Palestinian interests and Izraeli state institutions. Last, the issue is discussed again in the light of newly initiated peace talks between Israel and Palestinian Authority
