The Mortgage Crisis in the USA and its Impact on the Present

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the mortgage crisis in the USA. The aim of the thesis is to contribute to discussion about causes, course and consequences of the crisis. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first of them is dedicated to simplified description of the mortgage market in the USA regarding its main differences from the conception in the Czech Republic. The causes of the mortgage crises are analyzed in the second chapter. The third chapter describes the course of the crisis and its transformation into the financial crisis. In the last chapter the consequences of the events cited above are mentioned
