This work treats of the Russia's entry into the World Trade Organization. The first section is focusing on the purposes, the entry's objectives and its effects on the Russian economy. This section also takes a close look on all aspects of the Russia's entry process. The second section analyzes the Russian foreign trade with the main business partners, its development, its structure and the countries positions on the Russia's entry into the World Trade Organization. The last section is about the entry's problems and perspectives. At the end I summarized all the sections and outlined the possible future
