This thesis looks into the Business environment, commercial customs and cultural specifics of Thailand. First chapter states general information about the country (geography, history, religion, political situation) and describes specifics of business negotiation. Second chapter deals with the development of macro-economic indicators in the context of global economic crisis, the status of foreign relations and nature of local business environment. The third chapter is dedicated to economic cooperation of Thailand and Czech Republic, maps their bilateral relations on the basis of a questionnaire survey and lists specific experience of Czech companies on the Thai market.
