China's economic miracle is more than impressive. The thesis focuses on the factors influencing the development of economic situation in recent years. It is pointed out the connection between rapid economic growth and substantial deterioration of the environment, particularly the air pollution. The chinese authorities have recently adopted strict measures and regulations to predict the negative impacts of pollution on the living standard of inhabitants. It is obvious that the questions concerned the environmental issues need to be discussed at international level. There have been decsribed some agreements of bilateral and regional characters as well as multilateral commitments of Chinese People's Republic
