The aim of thesis was to describe the emergence, development and current status of different types and kinds of credit cards in terms of both end user and the banking institution. To document the development and implementation of payment cards in the Czech banking and consumer market. Furthermore, to capture what stage of development is the Czech internet and mobile banking.
