Arms and military equipment trade regulations in the Czech Republic

The thesis deals with the arms and military equipment trade regulations in the Czech Republic and it pays particular attention to foreign trade regulations. There are strict state regulatory measures signifying restrictions of access to the market and approval of particular trade orders. The main goal of my work is analyzing the consequences of these regulatory measures from the point of view concerning costs and returns and from the side of their influence on arms market structure. The thesis also examines socially undesirable phenomena occurring in state regulations of arms market, especially bureaucratization and related expenses, corruption and black market. At the end of the thesis I come to the conclusion that from the economic point of view, the established state regulations are considerably inefficient, nevertheless necessary owing to specific qualities of regulated commodity
