Analysis of the impact of the great depression on the Czechoslovak economy

Great Depression, which was started by the failure at the New York Stock Exchange in 1929 and gradually became apparent in most of the world, represented a major test of time. Czechoslovakia was no exception. The work outlines the likely causes of depression, its course and impact on individual sectors of the Czechoslovak economy. It will analyze the historical and theoretical views of the possible starting points, practical countermeasures made by Czechoslovak governments and the real impact of these measures. All of the events at the beginning of the 30th years will be seen in the context of the political and social situation. Work will be based on current scientific literature related to issues of economic crisis in Czechoslovakia and published sources such as records of National Assembly of the Czechoslovak Republic
