Coordination of EC/EU's economic policy and it's impact on the competitiveness of the Community.

This Bachelor`s thesis follows the process of EC/EU`s economic policy development from the end of the 2nd World War up to the 21st century. It provides a brief view of gradation of member states` cooperation in the area of economic policies, notices transfers of particular competencies from national to supra-national level and studies the effects of economic policy coordination on the member states over the last twenty years -- mainly the impacts of the European Economic and Monetary union and Lisbon Strategy. It focuses on basic macroeconomic indicators and tries to find an answer whether such coordination increased competitiveness of the Community or not
