Neverending african way out of vicious circle of poverty

In my baccalaureate thesis I would like to analyze the effeciency of existing develompent assistance to the poor countries (based on Africa). I will evaluate the results of the policy of The International Monetary Fund and World Bank, and review their contribution to the critical situation in these countries. I will also address the denying of the theory of the "vicious circle of poverty" and outlining a possible solution for Africa helping it to fight the poverty -- in the form of microcredits. I would like to emphasize the fact that "develompent assistance " might be a misleading yet powerful term. It is misleading because it is not a voluntary assistance, and according to the latest results it is not even an effective assistance. It is more negative and this negates the meaning of the word " assistance ". It is powerful with respect to a question to whom exactly this "development assistance " helps -- if it is not to the people of developing countries for whom it is intended? And why instead of searching for another way to fight the poverty immense amounts of money are spent although the history proves that this kind of help has negative influence to the economies of developing countries and in reality it harms more than it helps
