Payment cards

This Bachelor's thesis deals with the features of payment cards as well as the analysis of the payment transaction. The first part presents the overview of the historical development of payment cards, their legal regulation, their requirements, kinds of payment cards and their use nowadays. The second part describes a non-cash payment transaction by payment card and analyses both technical and accounting processes of this transaction
