U.S. position in international trade

The first chapter of the thesis analyzes the current economic development in the United States and assess its impact on the development of foreign trade. Emphasis is placed on the impact of financial crisis, weakening U.S. dollar against other world currencies and the state of balance of payments. The second chapter aims to present the direction of U.S. trade policy, its objectives, instruments and institutional support. The third chapter is devoted to the position of the United States in the multilateral trading system and their role in intergovernmental organizations in the field of international trade
