La planificación hidrológica integral de los recursos de una cuenca hidrográfica contribuye a determinar y controlar algunos de los factores limitantes de la producción, caracterizando el ambiente, identificando restricciones, entre otras, de carácter físico, así como las vinculadas al uso del suelo. El objetivo de este trabajo fue cuantificar la erosión hídrica superficial de la cuenca del Río Arrecifes y a través de ella, la distribución y pérdida potencial de nutrientes básicos, a los fines de dimensionar la magnitud del fenómeno e identificar áreas de mayor susceptibilidad a padecer la problemática.
