Se desarrollaron comprimidos bioadhesivos usando diferentes derivados de celulosa (HPMC K15M y HPMC K100M) y alginatos (Protanal® LF 120 M y Protanal® LF 240 D). Se realizaron estudios de caracterización in vitro y de mucoadhesión ex vivo de todas las formulaciones. Como modelo de droga se utilizó clorhidrato de ciprofloxacino. Se evaluó la cinética de liberación in vitro del fármaco. Las formulaciones que sufren menor erosión son las de mayor tiempo de adherencia. De esta manera, se obtienen comprimidos que poseen un buen poder de adherencia con la menor erosión matricial. De acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos, la estructura de la forma farmacéutica se mantendría casi intacta mientras permanece en la cavidad bucal.Bioadhesive tablets were ...
