First part focuses on theoretical knowledge, substance, goals, main definitions, sources, methods and techniques of financial analysis. In analytical part, a short characteristic of the company is described, the particular tools and methods are applied, values of financial ratios are calculated from information provided by the financial statements, then analyzed and compared with values of the branch.
