Draft of letter from Carl Linnaeus fil. to the superintendant of the botanical gardens at Padua, Pietro Arduino (1728-1805). Linnaeus fil. wishes to resume a correspondence with Arduino. Due to his father's illness, he has taken over as Professor of natural history, medicine, and botany as well as duties as superintendent of the Uppsala botanic garden. He wishes he could have a turn in Arduino's beautiful garden. He has seen a species of "Sarracena" from the garden in Murray's herbarium. On the reverse: draft of letter from Carl Linnaeus fil. to the secretary of the Academy of Science in Stockholm, Pehr Wilhelm Wargentin (1717-1783)
