This research was conducted due to the problems of students’ reading comprehension in narrative text at Azzuhra Islamic School Pekanbaru. For example, most of the students could not get the meaning of vocabulary that is unfamiliar, identify topic, identify reference, identify inference, and identify generic structurein reading narrative text.
