The experiment of liberation and the antimicrobe actifity of. eye ointment chloramphenicol had been done with various eye ointment basic standart. The liberation assessment was done by using a diffusion cell complated with spangler membrane. The amounts of chloramphenicol liberated from the eye ointment basic into the accepted liquid were observed on the minutes of 5, 10, 15, 20,30,40, 50,60,75,105, 120, respectively. The liberation of chloramphenicol was measured by using IJV Spectrophotometer aL282 nm. The formula Itr of the eye ointmenr gave the most rapid liberation among the five formula
