The goal of this research was the quantification of the movement quality from hemiplegic patients before and after a therapy in the comparison to a control group with the movement of rising from a chair. The examination was enforced with the specifically developed chair "PosMess", that measures the movement quality of the probationers during the rising by means of ultrasound and relays the results at the computer. The software calculates the certain parameters on the basis of a quadratic function of the speed and the right-left-asymmetry of the body during rising and changes them into mathematical numbers.
