We used an indoor testbed to evaluate the performance of conventional ORPL on ContikiOS. Through testbed experiments, we found out that ORPL's EDC (Expected Duty Cycled wakeups) metric is outdated because of lacking upward traffic in a downward-centric traffic scenario.
