This paper aims to classify the Kangnung platform area and to make clear its relief forming processes as well as its relief forming stages. The research areas were divided into 3 sections which are the half orange hills situated in the Kwandong college, the Bulhwasan hills and the Kumgwang-pyong. The half-orange hills with weathered-pebbles scattered on the 40m high summits were formed among the deeply wethered granites. The socalled weathered-pebbles landform on the granite have developed on the depressions which were formed by the leaching provesses in the Mindel/Riss interglacial perion.
