This paper aims to investigate the nature of the Confucian Wu-Wei political idea and its influence on traditional Chinese politics. The Wu-Wei political idea is the essence of Confucian political thought. It had a tremendous impact on traditional Chinese politics. So it is very meaningful to explore the nature of the Wu-Wei political idea and its influence on traditional Chinese politics. This study is composed of five chapters.
