We try to understand the role of organizational climate in the relationship between human resource systems and firms' performance. Researchers in strategic human resource management have found that human resource systems have positive effects on firms' performance. But few researchers examined the mechanism by which human resource systems affect firms' performance. In this study, we suggest organizational climate as an important mediator that links human resource systems and organizational performance.
