The author has measured 38 items on the pelves of 365 Korean fetuses. ranging from the 4th to the 10th fetal months, and computed 23 indices. The following conclusions have been drawn. 1. The dimensions of the greater pelvis increase about 4 times during the period from the 4th to the 10 th fetal months and the growth rate of the anteroposterior diameters is higher than that of the longitudinal and the transverse diameters. 2. The form of the greater pelvis is high longitudinally , narrow transversely and flattened anteropostriorly as compared with the adult pelvis. 3.
