A case of anencephalus. 38 weeks in fetal age. was observed. 1) The calvaria was completely absent and whole of the vertebrae showed complete spina bifida. There was strong lordosis between the 7th cervical and lst thoracic vertebra. which were compressed under the skull base. 2) Brain was completely absent while the bifurcated spinal cord was exposured on its upper half.
