Due to the prevalence and proliferation of telecommunication devices, the use of mobile phones has becomes more widespread than ever, causing public anxiety over the effects of RF radiation on human health. In order to examine the effects of non-thermal RF field on human health, 293T human renal epithelial cells is exposed to GSM 900 mobile phone signals for 2 and 5 hours, following which comparison is made between the protein profile of the control and affected culture mapped out by LC/MS.
