This study examines the current situation of the car-sharing service in Singapore. Stated-preference surveys coupled with revealed-preference data shall be used for data collection and analysis on the characteristics of car-sharing such as the number of cars for car-sharing, number of stations, demand, and cost as well as price schemes. A framework is developed and used to evaluate the market potential as well as cost-benefits of car-sharing coupled with comparative analysis of car-sharing with regards to alternative modes of transport.
