Droplet impact is a natural, common but complex phenomena that occurs in everyday life. It plays an important role in many and almost any situation where fluids is involved. The study of droplet impact in fluid mechanics has been ongoing for many years, but the behaviours that droplets exhibit are still being discussed extensively. Many research have been done and papers published, but there are still numerous potential areas of study that can be done. This study observes the impact of droplets of water, and five other liquids characterised by their low surface tension.
