Leather products have been around for a long time. Technology advancement has made producing synthetic leather affordable, accessible and of good quality. Yet, the demand for genuine leather continues. Brands also like to label their items as genuine leather as a selling point or a mark of authenticity. It is not necessary to use genuine leather in these products. There is simply too much damage done to animals, the environment and even humans in the production of genuine leather and products.
