In Edgar Allan Poe’s “Marginalia”, printed in Graham’s Magazine, March 1846, he speaks of difficulties in writing down “a class of ‘fancies’ that arise ‘where the confines of the waking world blend with those of the world of dreams’” (Schwenger 427). These ‘fancies’ that he speaks of is also known as dream visions, and the difficulties he talks about is not unique to him alone, or consigned only to the issue of writing about dreams.Bachelor of Art
