Add to ORKGSnippets of daily life all encompassed into a transcendence of history. Personal to every individual, these nostalgic memories are what make a person and place so unique. Singapore has developed so rapidly that places, tradition and culture, imperative to our foundation, is diminishing rapidly. In this research about kueh, I discovered my roots. My great grand mother is Peranakan, my great grand father is Teochew, while my grandparents are Hokkien. This fusion of dialects brings about the vibrancy of cultures, which my project wishes to convey.
