The health of a nation’s citizens has impact on the economic and social health of the society. People who are unwell would not be able to work or effectively contribute to the nation’s economy and may have to rely on social aid. The nation's healthcare system is the pillar for other social functions so it is crucial for it to be sustainable. This paper evaluates the healthcare systems of Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan, thereafter, proposes solutions to challenges identified.
