This report focuses on the public health financing schemes in Singapore offered by the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board. These include the Medisave, MediShield and Medifund schemes. ·The Medisave scheme was implemented by the Government in 1984 to ensure that Singaporeans have the necessary savings to help finance their hospitalisation expenses.
