As cycling goes beyond as a mean of transport into the realm of sports, the need for performance measurement tools becomes prevalent. One of the most essential equipment for a cyclist to measure his own performance is the Power Meter. However, commercially available Power Meter often exceeds the affordable budget of a typical cyclist. Hence it is important to assess possible solutions for the creation of cheaper and more affordable Power Meters that can serve as alternatives over current Power Meters in the market.
