Dementia is an incurable illness that affects the cognitive abilities of patients. Thus, it is crucial to have competent caregivers who are able to provide long-term and individualized care for patients. This causes stress for the caregivers as they are afraid of not performing well enough to support the dementia patients in their treatment. Therefore, a Person-Centred Care (PEAR) system was created with the aim to assist caregivers and supervisors in care centres with their daily operations in order to reduce the stress on them.
