This study proposes the optimum synthesized of pure MgO from MgO precursor, MgC2O4. PC production contributes 5 to 10 % of anthropogenic CO2 emission worldwide, mainly due to high calcination temperature, approximately (~1450 °C) and energy required for power generation, significantly contributing to global warning. As the environmental impacts of construction materials are becoming a critical concern, the development of novel alternatives with lower energy requirements and associated CO2 emissions is more crucial than ever.
